  15. I have been reviewing vt220 compatible telnet packages (including QVT
  16. and NET term) and since K95 requires that I buy before I try I have a
  17. couple of questions regarding keyboard remapping.

  19. The most significant questions regard the ability of the program to
  20. set the NUM Lock key to the GOLD key. Can K95 do this?
  21.  
  22. We evaluated Kermit for DOS and found that our keyboard remapping was
  23. complex enough that we 'filled' the keyboard translation table
  24. internal to kermit. Does this restriction still exist in K95?
  25.  
  26. As examples of programs we use currently that are acceptable we use
  27. the 'sethost.exe' app from Pathworks (DEC), the TN program included
  28. with FTP Inc.'s IP stack and SMARTTERM from Persoft.

  30. Needless to say K95 bulk pricing makes it very attractive but we need
  31. to know it will work first. A positive reply to this message will help
  32. a lot.
